The night lasts about three hours, including the two-hour cruise. The figures differ by source: GetYourGuide lists 2h 30m and describes a 3-hour party, and Budapest Boat Party’s own page says a 3.5-hour party. Budapest Boat Party calls it a weekly party and shows one date at a time on its site (the next was 31 October 2026 when we checked), so the calendar is the place to see which nights it runs.
It is sold in four tickets. The Budget ticket is the party and the cruise only. All-Nighter adds food discounts, the Party Bus to the Morrisons 2 club and skip-the-line entry there. Drinks In adds 2.5 hours of unlimited beer, wine and long drinks with a mixer. All-In adds a Casa Mexa box meal of tacos or a quesadilla.
Who it suits: groups who want a DJ and a dance floor on the river, and anyone carrying on to a club. Who should look elsewhere: anyone under 18, and anyone who wants to see the riverfront in conversation, for whom a prosecco cruise is the better hour.
What to know before you book:
- Age. 18 and over, with valid ID.
- Boarding. Akadémia Dock 2 on the Pest embankment by the Chain Bridge. Doors open at 22:45 and last entry is 23:00; the boat does not wait.
- Drinks. Free bottled water for everyone; unlimited drinks only on the Drinks In and All-In tickets; anything else is bought on board.
- Weather. Parts of the boat are open. The party runs in almost all weather, and the operator contacts guests if it has to cancel or postpone.
- Turned away. Guests who arrive visibly drunk can be refused entry without a refund.
The Budget ticket is from US$26 a person (checked October 2026); the calendar shows each ticket’s price for your date. Boat party or prosecco cruise compares it with the calmer boats.

- Please arrive promptly for boarding. Last entry is 15 minutes after scheduled start time, so make sure you’re on time to join the cruise!
- Party Bus shuttles run every 30 minutes just 200m from the dock, follow the staff for the most efficient experience
